Lingway dictionaries are organized in three levels:

1- Generic dictionaries:

The solution is supplied with a generic dictionary for each language. The dictionaries provide general descriptions in a given language and include approximately 60,000 words per language.

Generic dictionaries are available in English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch.

2- Specialized dictionaries:

These dictionaries are dedicated to a specific field, such as the law, sports or natural sciences, and the complete the standard dictionaries. They generally contain several thousand words.

3- Users’ dictionaries:

These dictionaries are designed for specific applications, and modify or complete the generic and specialized dictionaries. They usually include several hundred words.

They can also be compiled using multilingual terminology extraction tools.

The first two levels are built on the same model and updated daily by Lingway. The user level is based on a simplified model, enabling users without specific linguistic or documentary engineering knowledge to modify the dictionaries easily and to use them right away, as no particular IT process is required for implementation.

In all, Lingway’s lexicographical resources include over 150,000 concepts gathered in one central database.
