Lingway KM integrates more than 150,000 concepts linked to a number of different languages in a standard linguistic database. The volume is sufficient to cover most application needs. In addition, specialized dictionaries can be created for applications targeting specific domains.    

With Lingway KM, you can easily download the dictionary, thesaurus or terminology developed by your firm. You can also offer preferred access to company-specific terms rather than the ones used in the generic dictionary by privileging the search of documents in which they are used  

Linguistic analysis does use more resources than an ordinary Bayesian or statistical analysis. However, Lingway KM resolves the problem by desynchronising several levels of the text analysis and by offering the option of placing the linguistic intelligence either on the query side, or on the indexing side, depending on the phase of the cycle or application specificities.

In Lingway KM, a fast full text” indexing (2 gigas an hour on a standard PC) is first conducted to meet urgent needs, in particular the warning messages in the “push” system. A deep linguistic analysis is then launched as a “background task” to carry out the advanced “text-mining” and knowledge management tasks, which do not need to be performed in real time.

Lingway KM has its own indexing and search engine (based on Lucène and MySQL open sources), but it can also be connected to most existing systems. That means you do not have to re-index your databases in order to use Lingway KM.
